Worked with non-profit from Oregon to generate support for Bellevue's acquisition of the McTavish property on Woodridge hill - now a beautiful trail system maintained by Bellevue Parks.
Worked with the Bellevue Network on Aging and
A Regional Coalition for Housing to develop a website providing all senior housing on the eastside.
Worked to promote the Meydenbauer Bay Park Plan which the City Council approved in their recent budget process for Phase I.
Personal Accomplishments:
Raised two successful young adults with my husband, Dan
Participated in a medical mission trip to Ethiopia to treat patients and open a new medical clinic.
Led a second medical mission to Ethiopia to teach fellow physical therapists during a week-long seminar, and to treat patients.
Currently sponsoring an Ethiopian college student, now in his second year of engineering studies.
Currently sponsoring a young orphan in a poor suburb of Ethiopia.
